RULES, CLARIFICATIONS

1) I can only post briefly right now, being a Wednesday, after all. But you guys have posted more frequently and eloquently than I had anticipated, so things might be a bit shaky as we work out some sort of rythym in our posts. I'll try to keep up! Whew!

2) That means that, yes, viriginia, we are still at Round One-- but right at the end :) I'll do a bit of recap and introduce the next round on Thursday evening (and hopefully do away with the spoiler space.) Best patronizing British voice: "I know it's dreadfully confusing, Mr. spin, but *do* try to pay attention!" ; )

2a) I will from now on mark Rounds or Scenes in the Subject Heading (I just love Capitalization, BTW) In other words, you will from now on notice if what round we are in and can have your character act accordingly (In a Round: one Offensive Action and any Defensive Action(s) as appropriate. In a Scene: Any non-combat type action or card-play.) This should help clear things up and get that rythym going. Ug! I'm typing too much! I've turned into Sean McQuaid!!

3) TRUMPS!!! Ah. Oh. Uh, whoops. Me bad. When you trump, the trump card is played randomly from the deck, NOT your Hand. He he. Did I forget to mention that?

In other words: Pat will try to understand card play by writing the following outline:

a) Play any and all cards equal to or lower than Edge (In Black Knight's case, any number of 2's or 1's.)
b) Play your card to from your Hand.
c) IF that card happens to be a Trump (Suit matches the Ability you use), an additional card is added randomly from the Deck (by Ozbot in his flat in sunny SoCal)
d) Ozbot will repeat (c) if Trump again. (You may not be given the exact cards played, but I'll try to list the total when appropriate or otherwise jsut show the effects in the story.)

4) DOOM!!! As a player, the Doom suit merely means you cannot ever Trump when you play it. As a narrator, Doom cards played are not discarded, but given to the villain(s) at a later time or otherwise to add to THEIR cardplay or make life generally more difficult for someone.
