Personal History:

The Grandfather of Helmut, the 13th Baron Zemo, fought on the side of the Nazis in WWII as a loyal soldier until he actually checked out the rumors he had heard about the concentration camps and the ghettos in Poland. Realizing the things they were doing, he turned on the Nazi forces, joining the French Resistance so that no one would know he had switched sides thus avoiding the label of traitor. Unfortunately, the world at large still thinks the grandfather was a Nazi superhero.

After the war, Helmut’s father, the 12th Zemo, also became a German superhero but was uncomfortable with the role. About this time, the German government banished Zemo and his family from the country under mysterious circumstances. Zemo, fed up and disillusioned, soon quit to focus more on his own selfish concerns. His current whereabouts and activities are unknown.

Helmut himself was raised under his father’s arrogant hand, and was taught to carry on in the hero tradition of the Zemo family. When his father disappeared after the family’s forced relocation, Helmut used his family fortune to create a hero-role for himself, at various headquarters around the world. After all, if someone has the power to save the world-- it must be a Zemo!

Personality:

Very arrogant. Thinks he's above the common folk, but still tries to do the right thing. Although he may make a fair amount of judgement errors, all in all he has a good heart.

Appearance:

6' 2" with an athletic build. Quite good looking and he knows it. Something like a James Bond look.
