We was to become one of the Kree Empire's most impressive warriors, admired by all - except the bigoted blue Kree, who hated him for having attained a degree of skill, of honor, and of courage that they couldn't match.

We was to become one of the most notorious traitors to the Kree Empire, standing against his own people in favor of the people of Earth. Later, as the Protector of the Universe, he would stand against his own people in their relentless drive for galactic domination.

He would become the only Kree warrior to ever be decorated by the Skrullian Empire.
