A new arc begins after the resolution of the Winter Soldier saga.
Crossbones and Sin are rampaging acress America, doing a Bonny-And-Clyde thing, leaving a trail of bodies in their wake. The Winter Soldier is spotted in a small town, and Captain America and Sharon Carter are dispatched to investigate.
The sleepy little town harbors something beyond having had the Winter Soldier pass through - not is all as it seems here, and the small town is hiding something. Cap and Sharon check in for the night, and engage is some passion before being awakened by operatives of A.I.M. - who want their help!
Commentary
- Mike Perkins does an superb job in rendering, and the layouts are exceptionally interesting - one wonders if they're specified by Brubaker or if the breakdowns are Perkins' own. If so, he's doing very interesting, engaging work with the layouts - the storytelling was excellent.
- I don't know which plot I like better - the ongoing Winter Soldier stuff, or the rise of Crossbones and Sin. There has to be more than meets the eye to their rampage, and I can't wait to find out what it is.
- Apologies to everyone for the quick - and late - review.
